Meet Our Interventional Cardiologists

Timir K. Paul, MD, PhD, MPH, FACC

Dr. Timir Paul is an assistant professor and the Director Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. He is skilled in the evaluation and treatment of peripheral vascular diseases. He performs angioplasty and stenting in renal, iliac, femoral, and popliteal arteries, as well as tibial and peroneal arteries.


Dr. Paul earned his MD from the University of Dhaka, Dhaka; MPH in Cardiovascular Epidemiology from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Tulane University, New Orleans, La.; and a PhD in Cardiovascular Epidemiology, Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, New Orleans, La.

He completed his residency in internal medicine with the Department of Internal Medicine at the Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tenn. and his fellowship in cardiology at Oschner Clinic, New Orleans, La..  He finished his interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, N.C.
